A BRT bus caught fire and got burnt at Gbagada axis on the Thrd mainland bridge this morning.  Thankfully no one was injured and no life lost. See photos below   

An accident involving a Dangote truck and EFEX executive bus along Akintelu, Ore, Lagos-Benin expressway have led to the death of many.  According to Facebook user, Oluwi Olakunle Brown who shared the photos, the accident occured on Sunday, 18th December 2016 and all passengers in the commercial bus lost their lives.  See the graphic photos below. 

A mysterious event happened at Ondo Oduduwa street, Ondo State. According to the source, "a boy of about 12yrs old was found in the middle of moulded laid blocks.  It is beyond imagination, it is unexplainable. The boy sang for like 3 days before the people around discover it was a human and began to break the wall." See shocking pictures below

Akwa Ibom State is currently in a state of mourning as a church building located in Uyo, the state capital, reportedly collapsed leaving many worshippers dead and others injured. The building of the church identified as Reigners Bible Church along Uyo village road collapsed as the Bishopric Consecration of the founder, Apostle Akan Weeks was to be conducted. Professor Umar Danbata, Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), has stated that inadequate collaboration among key players and stakeholders in the mobile money ecosystem has undermined the growth of mobile money in Nigeria. Professor Umar Danbatta (NCC EVC) Danbata dropped this hint at the 4th annual Brands and Marketing Conference, 2016, organized by Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN), recently held in Lagos. In his keynote address, Danbata, who was represented by Henry Ojiokpota, Principal Manager, Policy Competition and Economic Analyses at NCC,underscored the need for stakeholders to collaborate in order to drive the growth of mobile money system in Nigeria. The online gender gap that keeps most Nigerian women off the Internet is being caused by Internet illiteracy and high cost of access, a report by Paradigm Initiative Nigeria (PIN) has identified. PIN, a social enterprise that connects Nigerians with information technology technology (ICT) opportunities says that the study was conducted to understand the technology adoption pattern across the country.  While almost all the women interviewed owned or had access to a mobile phone and used them for voice calls nearly every day, only 50% use a combination of voice calls and SMS, according to the report. Only 34% use a combination of voice calls, SMS and Internet-based communication and only 2% of women interviewed use their mainly Internet-based communication. A beautiful young lady, Jennifer Obayi died in the arms of her fiance, Collin Ifeanyi Egbosi after a ghastly road accident that occurred right in front of his house.  This is what the fiancé Collins Ifeanyi Egbosi wrote, “Our wedding plans are on top gear. We planned to do every thing by December; Traditional and Church wedding. Then on Saturday, she left school at Unizik, Awka, Anambra State to visit me at Onitsha, within same state, it not up to an hour journey. A human skeleton, believed to be that of a woman, has been allegedly found in the house of a pastor at Peace Land Estate in Akute, Ogun State.  According to eyewitnesses, the shocking discovery was made when the owner of the pastor’s house tried to evict him from his flat over late payment of rent. “The pastor did not pay his rent for a year. The landlady, who was angry with the situation of things, stormed his home with some people in-order to evict him, but were shocked when they discovered a human skeleton inside,” one of the sources revealed. People in the neighbourhood were attracted to the scene while the matter was quickly reported to the police. However the suspect, who owns a church, was said to have made some revelations about the skeleton. He alleged that it belonged to his sister.
