The Acer Iconia Talk S Tablet, which was launched recently by the Taiwanese tech company, hopes to offer a device for users on 4G LTE networks. 

The Iconia Talk S Tablet by Acer comes with Dual-SIM support, pre-installed Microsoft Office Suite1, Google Mobile Services and 4GLTE for faster Internet connectivity and data transfers.

DESIGN
The Acer Iconia Talk S Tablet comes in portable form factor, perfectly-sized 7-inch IPS screen and textured anti-slip finish as well as a bold camera ring design, making it an ideal on-the-go device. 

The Iconia Talk S also features a built-in touch-screen keyboard and is sized at 8.5 mm x 99.8 mm x 190 mm and weighs approximately 270 g. The 17.8 cm (7") Active Matrix TFT Color LCD touch-screen comes with LED backlight technology with 1280 x 720 pixel resolutions.

Acer says the Iconia Talk S Tablet screen integrates IPS (In-plane switching) which projects true colours no matter the angle it is viewed from and users can equally share what's on the screen with friends and family.

CAMERA
The device features a 13MP camera for you to capture your world clearly. Plus with the Acer EZ Utilities app, you can customise your Iconia Talk S to your liking: such as the size of the user-interface and sound preferences. If your kids will be using the device, you can keep inappropriate content out of sight with the Kids Center app.

Performance
The device runs Android Marshmallow Operating System with Acer suite of apps. The device is powered by 1.20 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor which simultaneously runs fast. It also preserves battery life and makes games look better. It supports Bluetooth Technology 4.0. The Iconia Talk S features 1GB RAM that can be expanded up to 16GB.

The Acer Iconia Talk S Tablet also features a micro USB for easy transfer of files with other devices and also to connect with peripherals like keyboards, mice and external drives. This device supports 4G-network communications which supports higher data transfer than 3G networks.

Acer’s Iconia Talk S comes with Lithium Polymer (Li-Polymer) 3780mAh battery that lasts up to 12 hours on extreme usage, according to its makers.

Imo Records First Confirmed case of Corona Virus

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control  (NCDC) has confirmed the first case of COVID_19 in Imo State. The Centre , in its last report which was made public on Saturday, April 25, 2020 listed the states with new confirmed cases and topping the list was Lagos State with 33 new cases, followed by Borno State with 18 cases, and Osun  State with 12 cases. Imo State which was among the 12 states in the country with no confirmed cases of Corona Virus is the least on the list with 1 new cases.
