Dr Allwell Orji's body finally recovered from Lagos lagoon

After 72 hours of what seemed like an endless search, the body of Dr. Allwell Orji, who jumped into the Lagos lagoon has finally been recovered. Orji's body which was recovered by the Marine Police Wednesday evening around 4p.m. has been identified by some of his family members, including his driver. Commissioner of Police, Lagos State command, Mr. Fatai Owoseni said “the body would be handed over to the family while investigation continues.” The commissioner who had on Tuesday made a false statement, stating that Dr. Orji’s body was found at the Onikan end of the lagoon following the recovery of an unknown body, however retracted his statement after the deceased’s family said the body was not their son. Earlier before the body was found, the Lagos State Police Command said it had retrieved the mobile phone of Dr. Orji, adding that the police was working with the service providers and using technical platform to investigate whom he called and what he discussed befor

It's definitely the end of the road for a suspected human parts seller (pictured below) as he has just been caught carrying a butchered female body parts. A Facebook user posted the pictures of the suspect and the female parts he was carrying when he was caught on his wall with this write up: " This happened at Ikoga Zebbe Badagry. I wanted not to post this but on a second thought I have to post it for you to see it too.  Selling of human's parts, cannibalism,  and money ritual is becoming the order of the day and it is quite alarming."

Breaking News: man commits suicide on 3rd Mainland Bridge

A man simply identified as Orji, a medical doctor has allegedly committed suicide in Lagos after jumping off 3rd Mainland Bridge into the lagoon. The man was said to have suddenly ordered his driver to stop around Adekunle, inward 3rd Mainland bridge at about 5pm today after which he alighted from the vehichle, a grey coloured Nissan SUV with registration number LND 476 EE,  and jumped off the bridge into the ocean. The vehicle and the driver has been reportedly taken to Adeniji Adele Poice Station for further investigation, while effort is on going to recover the man's body from the Lagoon. The General Manager LASEMA Mr Adesina Tiamiyu said that proper investigation would be conducted on the incident by the appropriate authorities
