Breaking News: man commits suicide on 3rd Mainland Bridge

A man simply identified as Orji, a medical doctor has allegedly committed suicide in Lagos after jumping off 3rd Mainland Bridge into the lagoon.

The man was said to have suddenly ordered his driver to stop around Adekunle, inward 3rd Mainland bridge at about 5pm today after which he alighted from the vehichle, a grey coloured Nissan SUV with registration number LND 476 EE,  and jumped off the bridge into the ocean.

The vehicle and the driver has been reportedly taken to Adeniji Adele Poice Station for further investigation, while effort is on going to recover the man's body from the Lagoon.

The General Manager LASEMA Mr Adesina Tiamiyu said that proper investigation would be conducted on the incident by the appropriate authorities

Imo Records First Confirmed case of Corona Virus

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control  (NCDC) has confirmed the first case of COVID_19 in Imo State. The Centre , in its last report which was made public on Saturday, April 25, 2020 listed the states with new confirmed cases and topping the list was Lagos State with 33 new cases, followed by Borno State with 18 cases, and Osun  State with 12 cases. Imo State which was among the 12 states in the country with no confirmed cases of Corona Virus is the least on the list with 1 new cases.
